The difference between exercise and training

Exercise can be defined simply as something which requires physical effort. When we exercise our body is subject to stress which elevates our heart rate (HR) above normal resting rate. However, once the exercise is done, the effects wear off and the body returns to normal resting values, and you don't have a plan for when you're next going to exercise. Exercise is usually done with no specific goal in mind other than to just improve overall wellbeing or simply because we enjoy it!
